Welcome

"IRATA from Greensboro, NC...not only know the right way to rock; they are fully unconcerned with the trends of today. (They) make raw, unrelenting rock music that grooves when it's supposed to, crushes when it needs to and will leave you wanting more." - Keith Chachkes of Metal Distro

BMX with Vans!

We are very happy to announce that Vans has selected our song Waking Eye off of the Tower record to be included in their BMX Pro Cup World Championship Broadcast!

Weedeater, Golden Haze Fest, Album Release, and more!

Then, beginning Wednesday, May 29th, we'll be heading out for a brief run with Weedeater. This tour will take us to Tennessee, Ohio, DC, and Virginia, so be sure to check out when we'll be close to you!

We're also very excited about Golden Haze Fest, in Golden, CO, and Descendants of Crom III, in Pittsburgh, PA. We'll be announcing tour dates around these festivals, so keep and eye on our shows page!

We're just getting revved up, and hope to have many more announcements soon!

Tour Time!

We thought we were done with the road this year, but the itch has struck again. We'll be traipsing through the middle of the US with our good friends Caustic Casanova starting this Saturday in Dayton, OH, and ending in Albuquerque, NM.

These shows are going to be super-special because we'll have: A) Owen Burd making our sound even thicker and scarier than before B) Sweet Loris Vinyl!!! You wanted it, we have it!!! and C) New songs which will be on the upcoming album!

Go to our shows page to see when we'll be destroying your hometown.

New Member!

Everyone please join us in welcoming Owen Burd to Irata! He'll be co-slaying on guitar, keys, vocals, carrying heavy shit, and terrorizing small children.

We have some shows coming up that will be announced soon; you can catch the new lineup AND some brand new songs!

Doin' Stuff

Hey! Huge thanks to everyone who came out to the shows the past couple of months! We had an absolute blast with our pals in Freedom Hawk and new buddies All Them Witches, and we couldn't have done it without you guys!
So, what's next? Well, we're working on getting Sweet Loris on vinyl, and writing some more music! We hope to have a new release out within the year. In the meantime, keep an eye on our shows page for special appearances near you!
